A 10-year-old wunderkind, who is already at university, has told the press that she ‘wants to be an astronaut to change the world’.
The girl from Mexico, Adhara Pérez Sánchez, currently studies systems engineering and mathematics at CNCI, a Mexican University, and has been tested to show that she has an IQ of 162, which some believe could potentially be higher than the famous physicist Albert Einstein. The 9-year-old has now even been invited by the Aeronautics Program in Alabama and to study Space Science at NASA.
The girl’s intelligence has been recognized in her home country and she even appeared in Forbes magazine as ‘one of the most powerful women in Mexico’.
Her parents say that their daughter has been taking IQ tests and has shown interest in physics and mathematics since she was very young.
Adhara was diagnosed with autism when she was 3, and her parents say she was ostracized for being different.
She fell into depression as a result of the bullying and she only managed to cope with it all when she was allowed to use her skill and intelligence in her studies and pursue higher ambitions.
Adhara has even written a book about being bullied and achieving through perseverance.
She told the press:
“Do not give up, and if you don’t like where you are, start planning where you want to be!”
Many child geniuses have gone on to achieve great things in life, just like this amazing girl.
Yet, there are some who, as a result of finding it difficult to fit in due to their high intelligence and niche interests, have fallen into obscurity.
Everyone believes that Adhara will succeed in her studies, and with the help of her family, friends, and educational institutions, she will achieve her goals.
